ACTIVE MEMBERS shall be members of the veterinary profession, the finance industry, the legal profession, the marketing industry or the human resources industry and others in allied fields who become paid members and who reside in the geographical area of VetPartners. Active members shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of the Association.

 STUDENT MEMBERS shall be individuals enrolled in an accredited school or college of veterinary medicine, recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association or an accredited school or college of law, recognized by the American Bar Association or any other state or provincial bar association, or any accredited school of veterinary technology, business, management, appraising or allied field. They shall be, after paying membership dues, entitled to all rights and privileges of the Association, except that they shall not have the right to vote or to hold office.

RETIRED MEMBERS shall be former members of the veterinary profession, the finance industry, the legal profession, the marketing industry or the human resources industry and others in allied fields who no longer provide, and intend to continue to no longer provide, services to the veterinary community, and have been an Active (voting) Member of VetPartners for a period of at least five (5) years prior to requesting Retired Member status. Retired members shall, after petition and approval, and upon payment of membership dues, be entitled to all rights and privileges of the Association, except that they shall not have the right to vote or to hold office. Retired Members’ membership dues shall be 60% of the Active Member membership dues.
